Let me tell you a quick story {{firstname}}…
2000 years ago,
A young warrior paid top dollar for the strongest sword in the city.
In the first fight, the warrior swung the sword so hard,
It got bent like tin foil.
Barley survived the battle.
He walked back furious.
“I paid for the strongest steel in the city.”
The blacksmith didn’t argue.
He threw the blade back into the fire.
Frustrated, his apprentice asked what was wrong with the metal.
The blacksmith replied, “It’s not the metal, it's the impurities inside it.”
He reheated the blade and burned away what didn’t belong.
In the next fight?
The other sword bent.
Here's why I'm telling you this, {{firstname}}.
Most people think they're stuck because they need to add something.
But the blacksmith didn't add new metal.
He removed what was already poisoning it.
The key is Subtraction.
Most guys try to build a new life on top of the old one.
It doesn't work.
You can't become a new person while carrying the same habits, same circle, same story about yourself.
Remove first. Build second.
Until next time,
— Zaid.
P.S. What’s 1# habit you know you need to cut but haven’t?
Is it your circle, your phone, or your excuses?
