During COVID, millions of people lost their jobs.
But most of them got a second chance.
By 2030 something else is going to take over jobs.
And this time it won't be “temporary”.
The World Economic Forum predicted that by 2030 92 million jobs will be displaced.
170 million new ones will be created.
Meaning, the new jobs won’t go to the same people.
AI is already eating through every skill that is repeatable, technical, or process-driven.
Writing basic content. Gone.
Coding. Gone.
Data entry.
Customer support.
Basic design.
All of it is being eliminated.
So if you've been building skills in those areas and wondering why it's getting harder to make money…
That's why.
The skills that made people money 5 years ago are not the same skills that will make people money in 2030.
To survive that you need to learn skills which can’t be replaced.
(Don't worry, I have got your back brother)
Down are 7 human skills that will only get more valuable as AI takes everything else.
1. Decision Making
AI can give you options.
It cannot choose for you.
The ability to make clear, right decisions in business, in life, under pressure is something machines structurally cannot copy.
The people who learn to decide fast and own the outcome will lead everything.
2. Persuasion
AI can write a sales message.
But it cannot read a room.
It cannot feel resistance and know when to back off.
It cannot build the kind of trust that makes someone say yes to you specifically.
Real persuasion is a human skill and always will be.
3. Creativity
Not creativity as in making art.
Creativity as in seeing a problem nobody else has noticed and finding a solution nobody else has tried.
AI generates from patterns.
It cannot create from nothing.
The person who can think originally will always have a greater impact.
4. Research Ability
Everyone has access to the same information now.
AI can find it faster than any human.
But knowing what questions to ask, what to actually trust, and how to turn raw information into real insight that's still a human thing.
(most people are terrible at it.)
5. Systems Thinking
The ability to look at a situation and understand how everything connects like why the problem keeps coming back, what's actually driving the result is rare and getting rarer.
AI fixes what you tell it to fix.
6. Entrepreneurship
AI can write your business plan.
It cannot take the risk. It cannot handle the rejection.
It cannot push through the moment where everything feels uncertain and most people quit.
Entrepreneurship is the most human act in business.
And the world is going to need more of it, not less.
7. Understanding Human Psychology
Why do people buy?
Why do they stay loyal?
Why do they resist change even when it benefits them?
The person who deeply understands how humans think and behave will always be able to sell, lead, influence, and build things that actually work.
92 million jobs are gone.
170 million new ones are coming.
The question isn't whether the world is changing.
It's whether you're building the skills that survive the change.
Or the ones that don't.
Don't waste your potential.
Hope it helps,
Your friend,
Zaid
P.S. Which of these 7 skills do you feel like you're weakest in right now?
Reply and tell me. I read every one.
